Hogwarts Legacy is a Harry Potter game that took the world by storm. When the game was released in February, everyone saw it everywhere, and everybody seemed to be playing the game. Not only because the franchise was a huge part of a lot of people’s childhoods, but the game itself has amazing graphics, storytelling, and many things for players to do to keep them busy.
Avalanche Software has posted job openings which means the studio wants to expand, and normally studios expand during game production. This has caused many to speculate that there may be a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy coming. Rumors and ideas have broken out all over of what fans want to see in this possible new sequel game.
While it isn’t determined whether or not this rumored game is a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, it makes sense if it is. Hogwarts Legacy sold millions of copies within its first couple of days. Fans seem to really want this game to take place in London and bring some romance.
Fans want Hogwarts Legacy to have some romance
The ideas for what the players and fans of Hogwarts Legacy want for the sequel are from one end to the other, and it is quite amazing to hear all these cool ideas from the community and what could be ahead for Harry Potter fans alike.
One Reddit thread has brought up the idea to fans that Hogwarts Legacy should have a romance mechanic to the game, which then leads fans to discuss that they felt “romantic tension” between their character Avatar in the game and other students. During the same Reddit thread, we see a user comment, “I just wanna play Quidditch man,” and we can feel the desperation in their comment, and many other players would agree with them.
On another subreddit, a user posted saying, “If there is a Hogwarts Legacy sequel, it should be set in an open-world London.” They then stated that even though the first game was amazing, the game won’t feel as impactful to others unless they selected a different location to continue it on.
That same Reddit thread had another user reply with a pretty unique comment, saying, “I think they should go the Demon’s Souls route and have many smaller open worlds to travel between and keep Hogwarts Castle and its immediate grounds as a hub area.”
For now, we don’t know for sure if the game that Avalanche Software is working on is another Hogwarts Legacy game, but we can hope since we all know how well the first game did.
