Metroid Dread pre-order bonuses are now available from various retailers.

Read below to find out what you can get packaged with this much-awaited, Nintendo-Switch only game, including the standard edition of Metroid Dread, and the Metroid Dread Special Edition.

Metroid Dread Release Date & Metroid Dread Price

Metroid Dread will be released in physical and digital versions on October 8, 2021.

This includes both the standard edition of the game and also the Metroid Dread Special Edition, details of which you can see below.

The standard edition of Metroid Dread will cost $59.99 MSRP.

Metroid Dread Pre Order Bonus

As with other Nintendo Switch games, the pre order bonus for Metroid Dread depends on which retailer you buy the game from.

At the time of writing we are only aware of two retailers giving a pre-order bonus for Metroid Dread: GameStop and the Nintendo Store UK, however more are likely to follow:

The Metroid Dread Special Edition will be playable at the same time as the standard release of the game, and is available to preorder now.

The Special Edition of Metroid Dread comes with a SteelBook case, five cards with box art from the previous four 2D Metroid games (Metroid I, Metroid II, Super Metroid, and Metroid Fusion), and a 190-page art book for each game.

The Metroid Dread Special Edition costs $89.99 i.e. $30 more than the Metroid Dread Standard Edition.
