Phanteks has decided to improve upon the rather successful full tower NV7 PC case with two new SKUs announced at Computex – The NV9, a bigger and “better” version and the NV5 a delightful mid tower version that could compete with the likes of the Lian Li O11 VISION.

The features behind the NV5 and NV9 are of similar ilk of the NV7, with the seamless tempered glass front and side and dedicated GPU cooling toward the bottom. The new and much larger NV9 will now give system builders support for up to three 420mm rads (480mm on the side), improved E-ATX support and will also come with an included vertical GPU bracket.

For the super tower you can expect to pay an MSRP of around $300.

The new Phanteks NV5 mid tower is where the money is at for us, as in, Phanteks take our money. This sort of case design is far from boring yet and we love to see more options than the likes of Hyte and Lian LI.

The NV5 has a dedicated 360mm radiator space at the top and is made for ATX (no EATX), making it more or less the same as the NV7, however, shrunk down. For the mid-tower you can expect to pay an MSRP of around $120.
