As you fill up your primary storage on your console, you may be looking to expand that amount. But the current options are a bit highly-priced for the amount. So we look at where to buy the WD C50, a cheaper Xbox series expansion card than the leaked option might be a good option.

The new option is a supposedly cheaper alternative to the current expansion options. The proprietary Seagate Expansion card for the Xbox Series X/S comes in with a price of $220 for just 1TB of storage. This is a ridiculous price per GB considering a PC NVMe offers a better price, such as the Samsung 980 Pro coming in at $100.

As the listing for the new expansion card has already been taken down, it still gave us a glimpse into what to expect from the model. The option came up on Best Buy, and the 1TB Western Black C50 came for $179.99. Still high for the amount, but better than the other options. However, we can still expect the card to come out at some point soon with a slightly better price.
