In case you haven’t heard, the Amazon Big Spring Sale has just started, bringing widespread deals to the popular retailer. Samsung’s OLED G9 is up there with the best ultrawide gaming monitors and it also makes an appearance in our best OLED ultrawide monitor tier list. You can now buy the flagship OLED G9 at 33% off at the time of writing.
The Odyssey OLED G9 actually comes in two different variants, the G95SC and G93SC, the former being the flagship thanks to smart TV features alongside the Game Bar and Gaming Hub. It is now $400 less than the slimmed-down model that forgoes these extra goodies.

Looking at the specs above, and you can see why this is Samsung’s flagship OLED ultrawide at the minute, at least until the 2024 OLED G9 release date comes around. The massive 49″ screen runs at a dual QHD resolution which gives you plenty of screen real estate to play with and next-level immersion for games that support 32:9 aspect ratios.
The high 240Hz refresh rate allows for super smooth gameplay if you have a powerful gaming PC to back it up – plus, FreeSync Premium Pro means screen tearing is not an issue. In addition, the rapid 0.03ms response time makes for top-tier motion control, so you won’t have to deal with monitor ghosting. HDR content also looks fantastic due to OLED color accuracy with true blacks.
Is this OLED G9 ultrawide gaming monitor deal good value?
We’ve already talked a little about the value for money when compared to the slimmed-down G93SC model. This flagship G95SC model is best suited if you also want to take advantage of the smart TV and gaming hub features. Anyone, we headed to CamelCamelCamel to check the price history.
The graph above shows that this OLED G9 has been up and down since not long after its release in 2023. Unfortunately it’s not the lowest-ever price we’ve seen, but it’s not far off. It still offers good value for money – especially against the alternative model as we’ve discussed, which is currently priced at $1,599.99 as we publish this.
