How do you get into the Observatory in Assassin’s Creed Mirage? You will visit this landmark as part of the Tales of Baghdad. Specifically, it is part of the “A Life’s Work” quest. The Observatory is a tall building that sticks out among the rest in Abbasiyah.
If you want to get inside the Observatory in AC Mirage, you must use your wits and cunning. Having an extra throwing knife doesn’t hurt either. Make sure you allocate skill points to give yourself some extras.

How to open the barred door in the Observatory in AC Mirage
The Observatory is located in Abbasiyah which is to the southwest of the Round City in Baghdad. When you get close to the Observatory, you will see a waypoint that marks its location, making it easy to find.
Once you reach the Observatory, go behind the building to find a moveable crate. Move the crate over to the right as far as you can. Use your Eagle Vision to see the lock on the door through the barred window.
Use a throwing knife to break the lock on the barred door, granting you access. Now you can run around to the front and open the door. Inside the Observatory, you will find the first page and the second page required for the Tale of Baghdad side quest.
How to reach the top of the Observatory in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
To snag the Observatory Viewpoint in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you need to reach the top. After unbarring the door, go through the building and unbar the window. Climb out of the window and use the rope to start the climb up the tower.
When you reach the balcony surrounded by fences, push the bookshelf as far back as you can. This will allow you to finish the climb to the top of the viewpoint and synchronize with it.
