Do you need an explanation of the perk system in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0? The update brought some major changes to everything from weapons and combat to attributes and perks. Pay attention to your stats and where you place perk points.

CD Projekt Red spent a long time changing the core of Cyberpunk 2077 to give it a major enhancement. Whether you are interacting with the ripperdoc or trying out a new playstyle, you will see a difference in the way the game operates. More changes will come with Phantom Liberty.

Welcome back to Night City. The Cyberpunk 2.0 update is ready with a ton of patch notes. Will you be focusing on the Solo, Headhunter, Netrunner, Shinobi, or Engineer skill trees? There are new perks to experience as well. Here are all the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 perks and what they do.

All Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Perks

There are multiple stat upgrade systems in Cyberpunk 2077. You have different skills and you have five attributes that you can put your attribute points into. Your different attribute levels will help determine the strength of your character.

The perks are broken up into five attributes:

  • Body – Enhances your proficiency with shotguns, Light Machine Guns, and blunt weapons.
  • Reflexes – Increases your ability to dodge attacks and grants bonuses to assault rifles, submachine guns, and blades. Can reduce stamina cost as well.
  • Technical Ability – Grants access to advanced cyberware implants abilities, grants proficiency with grenades and tech weapons, and makes hacking easier.
  • Cool – Increases your stealth and increases your proficiency with sniper rifles, precision rifles, throwables like daggers, and handguns like pistols and revolvers.
  • Intelligence – Increases your cyberware abilities and also makes quickhacks easier while giving you proficiency with smart weapons.

Let’s break down the different attribute trees into the skills they offer:

All Body perks

  • Painkiller – Gain slow health regen in combat
    • Comeback Kid – Increases health regen based on percentage of missing health
    • Dorph Head – 100% mitigation chance when using a Blood Pump or a health item
    • Speed Junkie – Bonus health regen while sprinting
    • Army of One – Bonus health regen for each enemy within melee range
  • Fury Road – Bonus damage to enemy vehicles in collisions.
  • Wrecking Ball – Knock down chance when hitting enemies while sprinting or when blocking with a blunt weapon
    • Kinetic Absorption – Bonus damage with blunt weapons after blocking
    • Breakthrough – Decreases enemy armor after hitting them with a strong attack
    • Clapback – Bonus knockdown chance with defensive attacks
    • Fly Swatter – Decreased ranged damage when blocking with a blunt weapon
  • Quake – Slam the ground, damaging and staggering nearby foes
    • Epicenter – If Quake is performed in the air, its area of effect (AOE) and damage scale with your fall speed/distance
    • Aftershock – Gain additional stamina for each enemy hit with Quake
  • Ripple Effect – Bonus health for each enemy hit by Quake
    • Juggernaut – Bonus movement speed and damage while Adrenaline Rush is active
    • Unstoppable Force – Gain immunity to non-damaging status effects while Adrenaline Rush is active.
  • Spontaneous Obliteration – Unlocks the Obliterate ability
    • Close-Quarters Carnage – Bonus reload speed after dismembering an enemy
    • Dread – Decreases enemy armor when using ranged attacks
    • Rush of Blood – Increases chance to Obliterate enemies
    • Skullcracker – Damage of quick melee attack increases as stamina decreases
  • Rip and Tear – Bonus quick melee attack damage after shooting an enemy with a shotgun and vice-versa.
  • Onslaught – Bonus ammo refill after neutralizing an enemy with a light machine gun
  • Pain to Gain – Bonus health item recharge after killing an enemy while Adrenaline Rush is active
  • Savage Sling – Unlocks the Savage Sling finisher which allows you to throw enemies.

All Reflexes perks

  • Slippery – You become harder to hit the faster you move
    • Muscle Memory – Grants ability to reload while sprinting, sliding, and vaulting
    • Multitasker – Grants ability to shoot while sprinting, sliding, and vaulting
    • Power Slide – Increases your slide distance
    • Parkour – Increases your climbing speed
  • Dash – Gain a dash that replaces your dodge
    • Can’t Touch This – Guaranteed mitigation chance when performing a dash
    • Steady Grip – Grants ability to aim and shoot mid dash
    • Mean Streak – Bonus stamina after killing an enemy while dashing
    • Mad Dash – Increased dash range when dashing toward an enemy
  • Read, Rested, Reloaded – Bonus reload speed and decreased stamina cost for shooting assault rifles and SMGs
    • Spice of Life – Bonus weapon swap speed
    • Tunnel Vision – Bonus range and accuracy
    • Mind Over Matter – Less recoil while aiming
  • Lead and Steel – Gain the ability to block projectiles
    • Seeing Double – Increases stun chance and damage with counterattacks
    • Bullet Deflect – Blocking projectiles deflects them instead if you are over 33% stamina
    • Bullet Time – If time is slowed, bullet deflect does not consume stamina
    • Flash and Thunderclap – Leap toward enemies when using strong attacks
  • Blade Runner – Unlocks the Blade Runner finisher
    • Flash of Steel – Bonus movement speed and attack speed after using a finisher
    • Opportunist – Staggered, Stunned, Blinded, and Bleeding foes are more prone to finishers
    • Going the Distance – Increased finisher range
  • Air Dash – Gain the ability to dash in the air
    • Aerodynamic – Bonus mitigation in midair
    • Aerial Combat – Bonus stamina from performing air dashes
    • Air Kereznikov – Stay suspended in the air by activating Kereznikov
  • Sharpshooter – Bonus stamina regen per sharpshooter stack
    • Spray and Pray – Reduced stamina cost when firing from the hip
    • Choot to Chill – Reduced stamina cost for automatic weapons per stack of sharpshooter
    • Practice Makes Perfect – Bonus crit chance and damage per stack of Sharpshooter
    • Gundancer – Aiming doesn’t slow movement
    • Salt in the Wound – Hitting the same target seven times in a row deals bonus damage
    • Submachine Fun – Faster weapon swap speed for SMGs

All Technical Ability perks

  • Glutton For War – Slight recharge of health items and grenades after killing an enemy
    • First Aid – Bonus recharge speed for health items if you’ve only used one charge
    • Transfusion – Bonus health from final charge of health item
  • Gearhead – Bonus vehicle health and bonus damage for vehicle-mounted weapons
  • Health Freak – Bonus recharge speed for health items outside of combat
    • Borrowed Time – Bonus recharge of health item after killing an enemy if below 20% health
    • Coming in Hot – Bonus recharge speed for grenades when none are available
    • Field Medic – Increased use rate of health items in combat
    • Demolitions Surplus – Bonus grenade charge and bonus recharge speed for grenades outside of combat
  • All Things Cyber – Reduces Cyberware capacity cost for cyberware in the Integumentary System and skeleton
    • Renaissance Punk – Bonus Cyberware capacity for each attribute at nine or higher
    • Chrome Constitution – Reduced incoming damage if all Integumentary and and Skeleton slots are filled
    • Lucky Day – Bonus crafting items from looting
    • Driver Update – Additional state modifier for each Cyberware
    • Chipware Connoisseur – Choose from the two stat modifier options when upgrading Cyberware
  • Pyromania – Bonus recharge speed for health items and grenades
    • Burn This City – Replenish grenade charges with Pyromania stacks
    • Heat Shield – Bonus mitigation chance per stack of Pyromania
    • Flash Sale – Double recharge rate for Smoke, Flash, Double Grenade, and Recon Grenades
    • Doomlauncher – Increases max charges and recharge speed of projectile launch system cyberware
    • Friendlier Fire – Bonus damage to effects from explosions you cause
    • Ticking Time Bomb – Whenever you activate Operating System Cyberware, release a powerful EMP.
  • License to Chrome – Bonus to all cyberware stat modifiers and bonus armor
    • Ambidextrous – Gain additional Cyberware Slots in your hands
    • Cyborg – Reduced cooldown for all cyberware if all slots are filled
    • Built Different – Unlock Cellular Adapter cyberware
    • Extended Warranty – Bonus duration for all Cyberware effects
  • Bolt – Bonus charge speed for tech weapons
    • Internal Clock – Increased time window to fire bolts
    • Lightning storm – Bonus charge speed after firing a bolt
    • Shock Value – Bolts ignore armor
    • Chain Lightning – Bolts deal electrical damage
    • In Charge – Tech weapons no longer automatically fire

All Cool perks

  • Road Warrior – Allows you to use Sandevistan to slow time while driving
  • Feline Footwork – Bonus movement speed and mitigation chance while crouched
    • Small Target – Bonus mitigation chance when crouched and not moving
    • Blind Spot – Takes longer for enemies to detect you based on your mitigation chance
    • Unexposed – Bonus mitigation chance when aiming from cover
  • Killer Instinct – Bonus damage with knives, axes, and silenced guns outside of combat
    • Quick Getaway – Bonus movement speed after killing an enemy while undetected
    • Gag Order – Delayed detection if you strike an enemy when they detect you
  • Focus – Unlocks Focus Mode.
    • Rinse and Reload – Bonus reload speed after killing an enemy
    • No Sweat – Reduced stamina cost for Focus
    • Pull – Easier to shoot grenades out of the air while in Focus Mode
    • Head to Head – Killing an enemy with a ranged attack resets Focus
    • Deep Breath – While focus is active, time slows for you and enemies
  • Scorpion Sting – Critical hits and headshots apply poison
    • Neurotoxin – Applying poison with Scorpion Sting applies bleeding
    • Parasite – Bonus health when you get a critical hit or headshot with a thrown weapon
    • Accelerated Toxin Absorption – Hitting a poisoned enemy with a strong attack or thrown weapon will deal more poison damage and remove effects
    • Corrosion – Grants ability to apply poison to mechs, robots, drones, and turrets
  • Deadeye – Unlocks Deadeye ability
    • High noon – While active, bonus reload speed after killing an enemy with a headshot or weak spot
    • California Reaper – Bonus stamina after killing an enemy with a headshot or weak spot
    • Long Shot – Distance penalty is removed while Deadeye is active
    • Quick Draw – Bonus weapon swap speed with pistols, revolvers, precision rifles, and sniper rifles
    • Run N Gun – Firing from the hip doesn’t consume stamina
    • Nerves of Tungsten-Steel – Headshots and weak spots are critical hits while Deadeye is active
  • Ninjutsu – Stay silent while crouch-sprinting
    • Creeping Death – Killing an enemy grants bonus health, stamina, and movement speed after killing an enemy with optical camo active
    • Shinobi Spirit – Reduced stamina cost for crouch-sprinting
    • Serpentine – Bonus mitigation chance when crouch-sprinting
  • Juggler – Instant cooldown reset after killing an enemy with a throwable weapon headshot or critical hit
    • Act of Mercy – Unlocks the Act of Mercry Thowable weapon finisher
    • Pay it Forward – Bonus damage for throwable weapons after retrieving a thrown weapon from an enemy
    • Style Over Substance – While crouch-sprinting, sliding, dodging, or dashing, you automatically get critical hits with thrown weapons

All Intelligence Perks

  • Eye in the Sky – Automatically highlight nearby access points and cameras
    • Forcekill Cypher – Reduces sequence length required to hack an access point by one to a minimum of two
    • Warning Explosion Hazard – Bonus explosion damage from hacked devices
  • Optimization – Bonus RAM recovery rate
    • Proximate Propagation – Reduces RAM cost when close to a target
    • Encryption – Reduced traceability for quickhacks
    • Subordination – Bonus duration for control quickhacks
  • Carhacker – Unlocks the ability to use quickhacks on vehicles
  • Hack Queue – Unlocks quickhack queues
    • Data Recycler – After killing an enemy, recover RAM cost from all quickhacks remaining in the queue
    • Feedback Loop – Bonus RAM recovery rate for each quickhack in the queue
    • Copy and Paste – Using a quickhack while the target of a netrunner will spread the effects to their allies
    • Counter A Hack – Counter enemy netrunner with counter quickhacks
  • Embedded Exploit – Bonus quickhack damage against enemies affected by control quickhacks
    • Icepick – Reduced RAM cost for combat quickhacks
    • Shadowrunner – Reduced trace progress after performing a takedown
    • System Overwhelm – Bonus quickhack damage for each unique quickhack affecting the target
    • Speculation – Kiling an enemy with a combat quickhack recovers RAM
    • Siphon – Monowire attacks recover RAM
    • Recirculation – Bonus RAM after killing an enemy with a smart weapon
  • Queue Acceleration – Reduced RM cost to quickhack devices and vehicles
    • Queue Prioritization – Bonus upload speed for the first quickhack
    • Live Wire – Unlocks the Live Wire finisher
    • Queue Hack Root – Reduced RAM cost for the first quickhack of each unique category
    • Blood Daemon – Bonus health for each quickhack Queued on an enemy while overlock is active
  • Overclock – Unlocks Overlock Mode
    • Sublimination – Ram recovery effects regenerate health while Overclock is active
    • Race Against Mind – Increases quickhack damage as health decreases while Overlock is active
    • Power Surge – Overlock restores health equal to five times your max RAM
