Dave the Diver will have you diving into the depths of the Blue Hole during the day and managing a sushi restaurant at night. This adventure RPG is one that will have you battle sea creatures as well as hungry sushi restaurant-goers.
Developer Mintrocket has created a game that many find overwhelmingly positive. Everything from the graphics to the gameplay has fans screaming for more. There is even a digital deluxe upgrade for the game.
Armed with your harpoon, take to the sea to discover various creatures in this deep sea mystery. So far, Dave the Diver is on PC. Is this where it will stay or is Dave the Diver coming to Nintendo Switch?
Will Dave the Diver be on Nintendo Switch?
At the end of the official trailer for Dave the Diver, the Nintendo Switch logo was shown, with the year 2023. It seems like the developers want everyone to know that Dave the Diver will come to Nintendo Switch in 2024, but no exact date. So yes, Dave the Diver is coming to Nintendo Switch.
On the Dave the Diver Steam FAQ page Developer MintRocket stated, “We are considering expanding our platforms to include consoles, and we will announce this decision once it has been made.” If the trailer wasn’t proof enough then this should show that Mintrocket is determined to put the game on other consoles.
We expect to see more news and information on the Nintendo Switch release very soon. However, for now, we have to wait until the developers say when the game will be ported.
Dave the Diver is much like Stardew Valley and has received many good remarks thanks to its lovable characters with distinct personalities, beautiful sea environment, oceanic adventure allowing you to catch fish and gather resources, and great gameplay loop involving sushi restaurant management.
There is much to explore in the game, puzzles to solve, and plenty of new adventures to be had. Explore the mysterious Blue Hole and see for yourself what kinds of sea creatures live there. At night, serve the locals. Each special customer has a story to tell and you may even get a surprise visit from an old friend.
This is one marine adventure that you do not want to miss out on. Just be sure to gear up and pack your weapons. You never know what unknown creature lies below.
