Dave the Diver allows you to cook different dishes, but you need ingredients for them. One of the ingredients used for several dishes is rice. However, a lot of players often get confused about how to acquire it. If you’re one of them, continue reading below as we are going to explain where to find rice in Dave the Diver.

Dave the Diver – How can I get rice?

To get rice in Dave the Diver, you need to unlock the farm by progressing through the main story until you’ve completed the Michael Bang quest. Once done, you can start growing rice so you can use it for different dishes.

After you unlock the farm, Otto will ask you to help him grow White Rice. You will also learn about the importance of plucking weeds from the fields, as they can destroy your rice. Keep in mind that after you start the process, it can take around 2 to 3 days until the rice is ready to harvest.

It is important to note that rice is an ingredient that can’t be acquired through any method other than growing it. Therefore, you will have to wait until you’ve progressed enough through the story to acquire it.

Your character will also start using the FarmNow app after gaining access to the farm, which can help you track the progress of everything daily. You will have to regularly visit the farm to remove the weeds and manage the nutrients of the soil, as the rice fields will get filled with pests otherwise, and the harvest will get ruined.

Once you’ve managed to get rice in Dave the Diver, you can start cooking dishes, including Stellate Puffer Special, Sushis, and much more. If you’re running a restaurant, your employees will want you to constantly get ingredients for crafting dishes. Therefore, make sure you grow plenty of rice.
