While games always tend to release with different editions, Dead Island 2 takes the cake coming in with six different versions of the game. Almost every version comes with different stuff, so keeping them all in mind when buying can be a bit difficult. Here is what is included and comparisons of each version of Dead Island 2.

Dead Island 2 Each Edition Compared

The thing to keep in mind with Dead Island 2, is that there are 3 different versions of the game depending on if you get the physical or digital copy. We will compare all of them at once, starting with the basic editions of the game and going up from there.

• Standard Edition – $60 Digitally, $70 Physically

This is your basic version of the game which includes the base game as well as a nice pre-order bonus; the Memories of Banoi Pack. The odd thing about this version is that it is cheating to get it digitally rather than physically. A bit of a stand-out in the gaming industry and hopefully not a staying trend.

• Pulp Edition – $70 Physical Only

This edition of the game seems to be a GameStop exclusive as they are the only retailer that sells it at the moment. It is also only available physically and should be what you pick up if you are going to get the physical version of the game. It includes the following:

• Bonus Content: Pulp Weapons Pack

• Deluxe Edition – $65 Digital Only

Your standard deluxe edition of a game coming in at a bit cheaper than what you normally expect. This is digital only but offers a bit more than the Pulp Edition does. For this edition, you will get the following:

• Pre-Order Bonus: Memories of Banoi Pack
• Bonus Content: Golden Weapons Pack
• Bonus Content: Character Pack 1 & 2

• Gold Edition – $80 Digital Only

Closer to the ultimate edition of a game than gold, this includes everything you could want for Dead Island 2 at not that high of a price tag, other games tend to have bundles with season passes priced around $100 but you can get this one for only $80. Here is what all you get:

• Bonus Content: Pulp Weapons Pack
• Bonus Content: Golden Weapons Pack
• Bonus Content: Character Pack 1 & 2

• Hell-A Edition – $100 Physical Only

The collector’s edition of Dead Island 2 comes in at quite the low price tag all things considered. Although it is up to you if you consider this edition to be worth the money. You do get the most out of all the other editions of the game this way. Here is what all you get:
