Knowing how to find the Dead Island 2 film set circuit breaker will save you a lot of time when you get to the relevant point in the game. For context, during your search for Michael, after you have been to his house and found Michael’s keys, the journey takes you to the film sets in Hell-A. While you are there you will once again need to find a circuit breaker in order to turn on the effects of the set. But be prepared: once you do this the zombies will start coming.
Usually in Dead Island 2, circuit breakers are found in garages but in this case, there isn’t one nearby. That means you’ll have to engage in some manual labour and search elsewhere for the circuit breaker.
Fortunately, it isn’t far from your position so it’s not a trek to find it – but it’s still hidden away. So here is where to find the circuit breaker on the film set whilst searching for Michael.

- From the power source turn around and head back toward the exit
- Before you reach the exit there is a doorway on the right
- Go through the doorway
- In the next room, there is a white cloth over a box to climb up
- At the end of the hall above the box, there is the circuit breaker
- Now you’re good to go put it in the power source

Do you need to play Dead Island 1 before 2?
A good question when a sequel comes out but in this case, like many, the answer is no. You can have a whale of a time going straight into Dead Island 2 without having played the first – and doing the latter might be tricky anyway as it came out 12 years ago!
