Redfall, the highly anticipated first-person shooter game developed by Arkane Studios, has recently been released, and fans of the game are already excited about the potential for additional content. One of the most common questions among gamers is whether or not Redfall will have DLC, and if so, what can be expected from it.

Below, we will explore the latest information about Redfall DLC, including what has been confirmed and any potential concerns that players may have about it. If you’re a fan of Redfall and curious about the game’s future,

Redfall – Is there DLC?

A DLC has been confirmed for Redfall, with there being two additional characters added to the character list alongside the ones already released. The DLC will be available for players who purchase the Bite Back Edition of the game automatically when it is released. If you are playing the game through the Game Pass, you will get the base game for free; however, to access the bonus DLC content, you’ll have to pay an additional $30.

The Bite Back Edition is available for $59.99 on the Epic Store and Steam for players on PC. Plus, the Bite Back Edition will also have a Redfall Hero Pass, Throwback Outfit Pack, Laser Beam multi-weapon skin, and the Tactical Knife Stake attachment on top of the base game on release.

Potential Problems With The Redfall DLC

The introduction of two new characters, with their own unique abilities and playstyle, raises the concern of players not using them at all. This is because players will have purchased the game earlier and mastered one of the four characters in the game already, making it increasingly difficult for players to find the courage to start the game with an entirely new character again.

Furthermore, Arkane Studios will need to find a way for the new characters to work well with the old ones, as players who will be looking to play the online co-op of Redfall will be looking to pick characters whose abilities work well together.
