Dying Light 2 has added an interesting collectable and Inhibitor reward system to the game. As you play through the game’s open world, you will find that some of the rewards you can get in the game are locked behind safe codes. This guide will help you work out how this mechanic works so you can get these easter eggs, collectables, or inhibitors.

Dying Light 2 safe codes

  • Garrison Electrical Plant – This is one of the first inhibitors locked in a safe you need a code for. When you finally work out how to get in the room using the electrical substation puzzle mechanic you can get into the safe. The note with the safe code is just to the side of it, but it is PI if you wanted to know, 3-1-4.
  • The St Paul Island Church – This Dying Light 2 safe code is located on top of the tower at the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle. You’ll eventually get the safe code, and then parkour up one of the church towers. You’ll need to drag an electric cable up the tower to complete the riddle as you can hear the code on the radio which is powered down by default. Then you’ll need to parkour up a little more and get to the top of the tower which has the safe to open. The code is 4-4-4
  • Downtown Thugs – There is an inhibitor in one of the more elevated parts of the skyscraper in the Downtown Thugs Hideout. Head to the back of the thug hideout if you’re approaching from the Fish Eye side. When you can cross the hideout to other buildings, you’ll want to start climbing the skyscraper. Eventually, you’ll find an office room with a  kitchen. One room has the Dying Light 2 safe code note in while the other room has the safe. The room with the note in it is slightly higher up than the safe if you want the actual collectable. But the code is 3-1-3 if you’re interested.
  • The First Biomarker -The first Biomaker takes you to the GRE hospital. You get a few clues to the puzzles, such as what becomes smaller when you turn it upside down, an odd number, takes it away to become even, and then a math puzzle. The code for it is 9-7-3.
  • Moonshine – Moonshine is a quest you can get from Jack and Joe who want their moonshine to make their time easier. You need to head back up to the Water Tower in Old Villedor and unlock the safe where you first met these two rebels. The code to the safe is 1492, the year America was discovered. You need to input 14-9-2 to get the safe open.
