Many formations only allow for one striker, but if you have two good ones, you’d want them playing. If you have better defense, five defenders in formation might be wise. Here are the best ones to try out in EA FC 24.

What is the best formation in EA Sports FC 24?

One of the best formations available in EA Sports FC 24 is the 4-1-2-1-2. This provides you with the following:

• Four defensive backs (two center backs, a left back, and a right back)
• One center defensive mid (CDM)
• Two center midfielders (CM)
• One center attacking mid (CAM)
• Two strikers (ST)

This is a well balanced formation with a lot of depth. There are five defensive players and five offensive players. In the midfield, you have five players, which makes it easier to win the ball back and dominate that section. The center midfield players can play up and back, which allows them to lend assistance in attack or defense.

Another great formation is the 3-4-2-1. This is a heavy attacking formation as it leaves only three true defenders on the pitch. A right (RB), left (LB), and center back (CB) will play with the following:

• Two CMs
• One left midfielder (LM)
• One right midfielder (RM)
• Two center forwards (CF)
• Two STs

The left and right mids will drop into defense to help, which means they will be up and down the pitch. They will need good pace and stamina to pull this off. This is a good formation for an offensive style.

The 4-3-3 formation is another good one. It has three attacking forwards, so the goals should come fast and furious. It is made up of:

• Two CBs
• One RB
• One CDM (can alternatively be set for more offense with a CAM)
• Two CMs
• One left winger (LW)
• One ST
• One right winger (RW)

It’s easy to play a long ball over the top in this formation as there are three guys up there who can make something happen with it. In all of these formations, the goalkeeper (GK) remains constant.

The 4-5-1 is another solid formation you can try. Focusing on the midfield, this is a great one for winning and controlling possession. It has the following players:

• One LB
• Two CBs
• One RB
• One LM
• One left center mid (LCM)
• One CM
• One right center mid (RCM)
• One RM
• One ST
