The next important update for F1 22 is arriving and it’s a new patch – Patch 1.08. We’ll be discussing what the notes by the developers at EA and Codemasters.
F1 22 Patch 1.08 Notes
This patch is looked to target the offline career mode community as stated above by reducing the career difficulty generated by AI to allow for a more smoother gameplay experience.

Hey drivers,
Patch 1.08 is available now for F1® 22 on all platforms. Check out what’s in this patch below:
- Rebalancing of AI performance in Career
Please note that this update will apply to all current and existing saves.
After this patch, please anticipate an average decrease in Career difficulty by five. You may need to alter your save game settings for the best experience.
Hidden from the initial patch notes website is the actual AI correction which can be found here.
It’s noted that AI’s straight line speed have been moderately nerfed to allow for more realistic experiences around corner speed when playing career mode.
Difficulty will be automatically reduced by five in all saved careers regardless on current settings.
