F1 Manager 2023 is coming out very soon and as with any sports games, there are a multitude of platforms and versions for gamers to choose from. It’s on several different consoles and there are two versions of the game: the Deluxe Edition and the Standard Edition.

The Deluxe Edition of any game, including F1 Manager 2023, is bigger and better. It’s also more expensive than the basic game. These always come with advantages, but in the case of Frontier Developments’ latest game, are they worth the inflated price tag?

What comes with the Deluxe Edition of F1 Manager 23?

When deciding whether or not the Deluxe Edition of F1 Manager 2023 is worth it, it’s important to know what it comes with. This game will give players three exclusive race moments that will not be featured in other editions. There is one for the all-new Las Vegas Strip Circuit, too.

The Deluxe Upgrade Pack also offers an exclusive scenarios pack with 12 scenarios and new challenges. This includes both starting grid and race moments that will challenge even the best players with new strategies and ideals.

The biggest aspect of the Deluxe Edition is the Early Access. The game does not come out until its official release date of July 31, but certain players can play starting July 27. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of F1 Manager 23 can begin their journey on that day.

That’s arguably the biggest attraction for the Deluxe. While the new races are nice and will extend the game’s shelf life a little longer, the real benefit is playing before everyone else.

When comparing the price tag, the Deluxe Edition does come with an increase. The Standard Edition is $54.99 and the Deluxe increases to $64.99, so it’s a consideration that gamers will have to take into account.

Sometimes, Deluxe Editions are far more expensive. For example, Madden 24 is $69.99 and the Deluxe Edition is $99.99. The increase in price for F1 Manager pales in comparison. That could make it worth the purchase.

Furthermore, the Deluxe Edition still costs less than the standard new game. Games have seen an increase to $69.99 base price and F1 Manager 2023 is still $5 below that for the Deluxe Edition. Gamers can get the added races and situations to try out, four days of Early Access, and more for less than a normal game would cost.

Should I buy the Deluxe Edition of F1 Manager 23?

For the reasons we stated above, we recommend the Deluxe Edition. F1 Manager is one of the premier racing games on the market, and there’s no reason the 2023 version will stray from that quality. For a relatively low price, gamers can experience everything Frontier Developments has installed, so it is absolutely worth it to purchase the Deluxe.

The Deluxe Edition is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Steam (PC and Mac), and Epic Games Store, so it’s not an exclusive format, either. All gamers can test their talent, cement their legacy and run laps around the competition in all-new modes with the Deluxe version.
