How to Get More Dwellers in Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter - How to Get More Dwellers

The easiest way to get more dwellers in Fallout Shelter is through conception.

Pair a female dweller with a male dweller in your shelter’s living quarters. Over time, your female dwellers will get pregnant, and the higher the charisma of your dwellers, the faster the process will be.

It only takes a few hours for a dweller to give birth to a child and it takes another few hours for the child to grow up and become an adult dweller in your shelter.

An alternate method of getting more dwellers in your shelter is through the Radio tower.

You need to have 20 dwellers in your shelter to unlock the Radio Tower, and someone with high charisma should be put in charge of the operation.

The radio tower operative will slowly recruit more dwellers to your shelter. This process takes much longer but once you have enough dwellers to run a Radio Tower, you can passively gain more dwellers over time.

You can also find new tenants when your dwellers head to the wasteland. It is not uncommon for your dwellers to run into refugees at the Super Duper Market or the Red Rocket Truckstop. You can recruit these refugees and boost your vault over time.
