Far Cry 6 pre order bonuses – Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s Editions

With only a few days to go until the release of Far Cry 6, we thought we’d bring you the last word on preorder bonuses and a run down of various editions of the game available – just in case you feel like making a last minute purchase ahead of your trip to liberate Yara.
Far Cry 6 pre order bonus
If you pre order a copy of Far Cry 6 before the game goes live at midnight on October 7, you will be eligible to receive the Libertad Pack. It comes with two items, the Discos Locos disc launcher and the Libertad Chorizo outfit for when you recruit Chorizo the sausage dog. The disc launcher looks to be very similar to the saw launchers that featured in Far Cry New Dawn, only it shoots unwanted Compuserve CD-ROMs collected from 90s computer magazine covers.
Far Cry 6 digital editions
There are three digital editions of Far Cry 6, each one featuring the full version of the game (obviously, or what’s the point). The Standard Edition is nothing but the full game. The Gold Edition is not gold, but does include the Far Cry 6 Season Pass. Lastly the Ultimate Edition includes the Season Pass and three cosmetic collections that constitute the Ultimate Pack: The Croc Hunter Pack, Vice Pack and Jungle Expedition Pack.

Far Cry 6 upgrades
Digital editions of Far Cry 6 are available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X. If you buy the lesser console edition (PS4, Xbone), you will be able to upgrade to PS5 or Xbox Series versions for no extra cost (unlike the actual consoles). Far Cry 6 is also available on PC, Stadia, and Luna.
Far Cry 6 Collector’s Edition
Sadly the physical Far Cry 6 Collector’s Edition is out of stock from Ubisoft US, but is still available to preorder from the UK store. This version includes everything from the Ultimate Edition and comes with a SteelBook case with alternative cover art, soundtrack CD, printed map of Yara, Chorizo keyring (which we think refers to the design rather than the materials), a 64-page art book and a “high-end replica” of the game’s Tostador flamethrower. Gasoline not included.
