Epic Games just released another free Fortnite cosmetic item. This time, the development team released a back bling called Winged Cavalry, and anyone can unlock it by following a couple of simple steps.
The new cosmetic item is part of the latest Community Battle. However, it’s important to note that the item is available only for a limited time. Due to this, you should get into the game as soon as possible and unlock it before it expires.
Here are the steps you need to take to add the new Fortnite item to your locker.
How to unlock the Winged Cavalry cosmetic for free
The only way to get the Winged Cavalry cosmetic item in Fortnite is to join the latest Community Battle. You will need to do this through the official website of Epic Games, then complete a single quest in the Creative mode.
If you want to add the free Fortnite item to your locker, here are the steps you need to take:
- Visit the Fortnite Community Battles website
- Log in with your Epic Games account
- Launch Fortnite
- Join the Space Battle Ultima map with the code 2755-0816-9868
- Eliminate 50 opponents on the map
To join the Creative map, the easiest way is to open the Game Mode selection menu and enter the code in the Island Code tab.
Epic Games has pointed out that the in-game task has to be done against real players. In other words, character eliminations will not count toward progress. In addition, the task can be completed across multiple sessions, which makes this challenge extremely easy.
It’s important to note that the Fortnite Community Battle will be active until Thursday, June 22, at 4 AM Eastern Time. After this, you will not be able to earn the Winged Cavalry back bling for free.
Epic may release the back bling to the Item Shop at a later date.
