It seems that something interesting is always going on within the Fortnite community, and today is no different. While it might be becoming a new normal for certain players to cheat within games or even mod them in ways they aren’t supposed to be modified, it keeps a huge damper on the game for the rest of the players. That’s exactly what’s happening with Fortnite.
Fortnite is known for being a popular battle royale game, but sometimes the players who choose to go against the game make the whole experience frustrating. This goes without saying by the outraged community on Reddit after a post was made about a player using a cheat to win the game.
Fortnite cheaters enrage the community with this cheat that helps them win
In a Reddit post by u/phaedrus3000, you can see a player literally flying across the map and shooting down at enemy players. This is essentially having the high ground in every firefight. It’s hard to fight back against.
This Reddit post shows a player flying above the trees in Fortnite while shooting at other players. This is not possible in the game without using a cheat, and this is just half of what makes other players so angry. Not only does this show some disrespect to the game but also to all other players as they don’t stand a chance of winning when cheats are used against them.
While the rest of the players are down on the map’s ground, players using this floating cheat are taking them out before they can even figure out exactly where the shots are coming from. It is obvious why players are taking out their anger about the issue on Reddit, claiming how egotistical it is for players to use cheats instead of playing the game fairly with the rest of the players.
Unfortunately, players cannot do much about stopping cheaters from joining their public lobbies, and so far, Fortnite hasn’t said much on the issue of cheaters, although if a player is caught cheating, they are supposed to ban them. If a player sees people cheating while playing, they should report them, so hopefully, it will cut down on this issue.
