The first one is the most popular type of gift card, as it allows players to deposit the in-game currency into their account. In this guide, we will explain how to redeem a Fortnite gift card, as the process can be a bit complicated for new players.

How can I redeem my Fortnite V-Bucks gift card?

Fortnite V-Bucks gift cards can be redeemed through the Fortnite website. However, the process is a bit different for Xbox and PlayStation users.

PC/Nintendo Switch/Mobile

Here is how to redeem a Fortnite V-Bucks gift card on PC, Nintendo Switch, or mobile:

1. Visit the official Fortnite website.
2. Log in to your account.
3. Now, hover the cursor over your name to make a drop-down menu appear.
4. Select “V-Bucks Card.”
5. Click on “Get Started.”
6. Enter the code from your gift card.
7. Click “Next” and select the platform.
8. After verifying the info of your account, click on “Confirm.”

If you selected PC, Nintendo Switch, or mobile (Android, iPhone, and iPad), you can go ahead and launch the game on your device to see the V-Bucks. You can then purchase in-game items from the Fortnite Item Shop, such as cosmetics. Don’t worry; if you spend your V-Bucks on the wrong items, you can always get a refund in Fortnite.

Xbox and PlayStation

Once done, the rewards will get added to your Fortnite account. If the code is platform-exclusive, then Xbox or PlayStation users will need to go to their respective stores and redeem it from there.
