Fortnite: How to obtain Mythic Items in new update

Do you want to know how you can obtain the Mythic items in the new Fortnite update? With the recent Fortnite update, v26.30, many new items, cosmetics, and quests have been included in the game. As a result, you may want to know how you can get these Mythic items, as it may change the result of the game.

It’s likely that some of the items will only stay in the game until the Fortnitemares 2023 event comes to an end. So, follow this guide to find out how to get Mythic Items in the new Fortnite update.

How to obtain Mythic Items in the new Fortnite update

There are three ways you can obtain Mythic items in the new Fortnite Fortnitemares update. Epic Games disabled Display Cases in Vaults, which is why you cannot gain Mythic items from them anymore. Fortunately, these items haven’t been removed from the game, and you can get them if you do the following:

• Eliminate the Highcard Boss
• Eliminate Revenant Kado Throne
• Activate the Mythic Grab Bag Reality Augment

In the v26.30 update, Fortnite introduced four new Reality Augments to the Battle Royale, and one of them can be used to get Mythic weapons. Below, you can find a list of these items and how they work:

• Mythic Grab Bag – Receive a random Mythic Weapon
• Revamped – Instantly gain a Wood Stake Shotgun. The Wood Stake Shotgun will also give you a siphon ability when you hit enemy players.
• Trick or Treat – Instantly gain candy. Each elimination will drop additional candy. The Candy will restore an additional shield.
• Witchy Warrior – Instantly gain a Witch Broom. This Augment will also reduce the cooldown for the Witch Broom.

These four Reality Augments were added in the Fortnitemares update. As a result, it is likely they will only be available for a limited time, as they will only work for the corresponding weapon or item.

The Fortnitemares 2023 event will run until November 3, 2023, at 2 am ET.
