Is Fortnite available on iPad?

The short answer to the question is yes. You can download and play Fortnite on iPad as well as on iPhone. Of course, things are never that simple.

While the game is available on iOS devices, you cannot download Fortnite from the Apple app store. Instead, you need to the through Safari.

If you want to play Fortnite on an iPad, you first need to open Safari and find Fortnite on the Xbox cloud gaming services website. From there, you need to create a Microsoft account if you don’t have one or sign in to your account if you do.

Now that you have an account, download the cloud gaming app by adding it to your home screen. To do this tap the share button in Safari and choose the add to home screen option.

From here, go into the cloud gaming app from your home screen and sign into your account. Search up Fortnite. When you pull the game up, you should see an option that says play if you are signed in. Select the play option if you want to start playing the game. No need to purchase the game.

This will allow you to stream the game to your device using cloud gaming. Of course, this requires you to have an internet connection as the game cannot be played without one. Since the game is cross-platform, you can also play online with friends on other platforms as long as you are all using a compatible device. Now you can get ready for the next Fortnite season.
