Do you want to know where to find the Wood Stake Shotgun in Fortnite? The Fortnitemares 2023 event has begun bringing new cosmetics, items, and weapons to Fortnite players. Two new weapons have been included in the v26.30 update: the Throne’s Vampiric Blade and Wood Stake Shotgun.

However, ensure you have the best gaming laptop for Fortnite so you can complete this year’s Fortnitemares Horde Rush event with ease. You can also find out how to Throne’s Vampiric Blade. But first, follow this guide on where you can find the Wood Stake Shotgun in Fortnite.

Where to find the Wood Stake Shotgun in Fortnite

You can find the Wood Stake Shotgun on the ground, in regular and Rare, chests and Holo-Chests in Fortnite. The Wood Stake Shotgun is a new item that was introduced in the Fortnitemares 2023 event. The weapon will fire wooden stakes that deal significant damage at close ranges. As a result, this weapon was created to fight Vampires and the undead. It is undoubtedly an item that will help you in defeating the Revenant Kado Throne.

The Wood Stake Shotgun will have the following stats for the Rare (Blue) rarity:

  • Damage – 92
  • Headshot Damage – 161
  • Magazine Size – 4
  • Fire Rate – 1.3
  • Reload Time – 4.275

Unfortunately, the new Wood Stake Shotgun will likely only stay in the game until the end of Season 4. In addition, one of the upcoming challenges will require Fortnite players to hit 10 headshots with the Wood Stake Shotgun for 15,000 XP. You must also obtain five eliminations with the Shotgun or the Pumpkin launcher in another challenge.

The Wood Stake Shotgun is not included in the competitive playlists. Many other weapons that were added with the latest Fortnite update, including the Pumpkin Launcher and Throne’s Vampiric Blade, have only been released to casual game modes.
