Forza Motorsport 8 is coming very soon. With a launch date nearing, players are beginning to set their orders and pre-orders. There are quite a few different versions of the game, so there are a few choices prospective players will have to make. For the most part, each version has their advantages. Here’s what the difference is between the Premium and Deluxe Edition.

What’s the difference between Forza Motorsport 8 Premium Edition and Deluxe Edition?

Forza Motorsport 8 Deluxe Edition is on sale for $89.99. This extra cost comes with a Forza Motorsport Car Pass, which will also add 30 new-to-Forza cars. Each week, one of these new Forza Edition cars will be delivered to you. That is the extent of the advantages available for this edition. Other than pre-order bonuses, the gameplay and everything else remains the same for both editions.

The Premium Edition is available for $99.99. You don’t get the Motorsport Car Pass, but you do get the following bonuses:

  • Five days of early access (October 5)
  • Full game
  • Race Day Car Pack
  • Car Pass
  • VIP Membership
  • Welcome Pack

Both the Premium and Deluxe Edition have the base game, which is single player and multiplayer. The Race Day Car Pack features eight new-to-Forza cars such as the 2018 Acura #36 Gradient Racing NSX GT3 and the 2017 Vauxhall #66 Power Maxed TAG Racing Astra.

The VIP Membership grants players a 2x credit boost. It also gives five custom Forza Edition cars, and some exclusive VIP Driver Gear with five colorways. VIP members also get a VIP Player Card, VIP Crown Flair, and access to VIP-exclusive Rivals events.

You can also purchase these as part of the Premium Add-Ons Bundle. This is designed for those who have Xbox Game Pass, which the game is on, and want to get the bonuses. It’s available for $35.99. Game Pass subscription on Xbox Series X|S is a $16.99 monthly charge, so it’s altogether not as expensive to go this route.

Forza Motorsport’s Standard Edition does not have any bonuses like the above versions.

Pre-orders for Forza Motorsport‘s Premium Edition and Deluxe Edition are available now. For both PC and console, you can redeem the above rewards. Soon after, you’ll be able to play with unique driving conditions, a dynamic time-of-day feature, new damage, online events, and more!
