Forza Motorsport 8 is mere days away from releasing, which is an exciting time for fans of the popular racing simulation franchise. That means it’s important for those who wish to get or pre-order the game to know what consoles and gaming platforms it’s available on. Will it come to Xbox Series X|S?
Does Xbox Series X|S get Forza Motorsport 8?
Yes, Forza Motorsport 8 will be available for Xbox Series X|S. In fact, that console is one of the very few that will actually have access to the game. It is only available to that and PC since it is a Microsoft Store exclusive title. It’s also next-gen only, which means the game has been optimized for the newest Xbox devices.
The new Forza Motorsport’s physics, graphics/visuals, FPS, gameplay, ray tracing, a dynamic time-of-day setting, and more are designed for the Series X|S. The game simply can’t run on Xbox One due to its limitations as a console. PC is sometimes considered last-gen, but it’s able to run the game alongside the Xbox Series X|S.
When the game has its official launch in October, it will be available for the Series X|S. It’s also on Xbox Game Pass, so users who subscribe can get it for their console for free. Upgrades (such as early access) are available with a Premium Edition add-on pack, but the Series X|S can get it for free.
When the game has its official release date, racers on Series X can visit Kyalami, South Africa or Maple Valley, drive wit fan favorites like Nissan, Cadillac V-Series, new-to-Forza cars, and more that was shown off in trailers in June at the Xbox Games Showcase.
