With Genshin Impact 3.2 just around the corner, many players wonder what and when they can expect from the update.

Read on to discover the 3.2 release date and anything else we know about this update.

Genshin Impact 3.2 Release Date

If you’re hyped for the new Genshin update, then you won’t have too long to wait. The Genshin Impact 3.2 Release Date is scheduled for 2 November 2022.

The release date was officially announced during the Version 3.2 Special Program, a live stream that HoYoVerse runs each time there’s a new update. These shows typically reveal the latest trailer for the update, as well as giving an in-depth look at what the update will actually contain.

If you’re lucky and you were watching live, then you also got a chance to redeem some codes. These codes are super limited, only lasting for around 24 hours from the livestream, but they reward you with some pretty awesome in-game items.

Genshin Impact 3.2 New Missions

One of the things that players look out for with each update is additional Archon Quest missions being added to the game. Archon Quests tell the story of the main character and their companion Paimon, travelling around the world to find the protagonists lost sibling.

With each update, a new chunk of the quest is added to the game, giving you more adventures to experience and presumebly bringing you closer to your lost sibling.

This update brings us Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises, a quest that sees your journeying around the Sumeru region. The latest installament in the questline will see you team up to take on the Sumeru Akademiya, the group that controls Sumeru, ultimately seeing you fighting off a brand-new boss character.

Genshin Impact 3.2 New Characters

Genshin Impact 3.2 gameplay reveal

As well as new missions, 3.2 also brings us new characters to play as. With each update new characters will become available to unlock in the game’s Gacha-like system.

The first new character is Nahida, a character who has actually been playing a huge role in recent story events. Now we’ll finally get to play as the character, who utselizes mostly ranged, magic attacks, but does have some access to close-up spells too.

The second new characters is called Layla, another magic user, albeit one that you might feel a bit more familiar with compared to Nahida. She utelizes swift sword strikes while relying on her magic mostly for support and defense.

Genshin Impact 3.2 New Event

As well as the other new content coming in the Genshin Impact 3.2 Update, we’ll also be getting a brand new event called Fabulous Fungus Frenzy. This event establishes a contest to hunt down your own mushroom companion and capture them so you can fight them against other monsters.

Basically, it’s mushroom Pokemon. During the event in certain areas you’ll be able to sneak up on fungus and trap them inside a clowing orb-like object. Once you’ve got them, you can train them, and even take part in special battle events.

The training, admittedly, comes in the form of a color-swapping mini-game, but it’ll still all in good fun. Along with the new trial event, Adventurer’s Trial, there’s going to be plenty of new stuff to get stuck into when the update drops.
