Narukami Trail Guide: How to Unlock and Walkthrough

The Narukami Trail is an allusive quest located in Inazuma which takes several steps before it can be unlocked, as well as a lot of RNG. Keep reading to find out how to unlock it, and how to complete it.

How to unlock The Narukami Trail in Genshin Impact

To unlock it, you must first complete the Neko Is A Cat chain of quests, which can be found at the Asase Shrine on Seirai Island  after completing the Seirai Stormchasers quest. Talk to Neko at the shrine, and she will task you with a quest. There are nine quests to complete, which can be taken on once per day. With every quest you complete, you will be rewarded with 20 Primogems!

Once you have finished all of the Neko Is A Cat quests, Neko will then task you with daily commissions which will appear randomly on your daily commissions list. There are three different commissions in total:

  • The Cat’s Trail
  • A Fishy Flavour
  • Shrine Cleanup

To unlock the quest The Narukami Trail, you must complete any of these commissions three times. To speed up the process of you being randomly assigned these commissions, set your preferred region to Inazuma in the Commissions tab located in the Adventurer Handbook. You’ll know when you’ve unlocked The Narukami Trail when you see a blue marker appear at the Asase Shrine. Unfortunately, there is no quick or easy way to get these commissions, nor can they be guaranteed, so just keep checking every day until they eventually get assigned to you.

The Narukami Trail walkthrough

One you have unlocked this quest, you must first head to Asase Shrine and speak with Neko, who will then appear at the Kamisato Estate.

Then you will head to the Grand Narukami Shrine to speak with a Shrine Maiden.

After that, speak to Inagi who is stood nearby.

Next, head towards the Kamisato Estate, and then go back to the Asase Shrine to finish the quest.

Upon completing The Narukami Trail, you will get an achievement titled “Her and Her Cat.” Despite how difficult it is to unlock this quest, the quest itself is thankfully very simple and shouldn’t take much time to complete. Happy questing!
