There will be plenty of side quests you won’t have an easy time completing in Genshin Impact. However, you don’t worry about not having enough ATK damage or battling a boss with a million HP in this case. Instead, this has to do with players who have disabilities and can be hindered by certain gameplay features.

While the Aranara are a cute plant-like race in Genshin Impact, their language is sometimes incredibly confusing. Similarly, many of the Aranara names are almost identical, which can lead some players to confuse one for the other. This can lead to frustration when the entire quest chain follows the same suit.

Which side quests won’t give you an easy time in Genshin Impact?

There are plenty of quests and missions you can do in Genshin Impact—these filter between Archon quests, World quests, commissions, and story quests. During your travels in Teyvat, you will encounter the Aranara in the world quest series Aranyaka in Sumera. Here, you must complete various quests from the Aranara species; however, this is easier side than done. One Redditor voiced their frustrations as the quest with a disability makes it harder to enjoy the side quest thoroughly.

For those unaware, during the Aranara quest, these plant-like creatures will speak the Aranara language. However, this language often -na and many words look or sound similar. Due to this, those who have reading disabilities will have a more challenging time recognizing names and differentiation sounds.

Due to this, many individuals have expressed similar feelings toward this quest. One Redditor, who has no disabilities, agreed with the above post. Stating, “I do not have dyslexia, but for me, it was hell because I have trouble remembering names.” As a result, those unaffected by disabilities have the same issues regarding names and the Aranara language.

One Redditor even mentions a solution to this problem. For those with disabilities to follow along with the story, Paimon, the mascot, and emergency food can recap and give various explanations. However, Paimon, the ever-sassy floating mascot, serves more as comedic relief, which isn’t as helpful. Of course, some try to find an easier way to deal with the side quest; they use physical features to assist them. However, this can also only go so far.

While the quest will have you confused through and through, many players have decided to skip through it and finish the quest. Thankfully, plenty of quest markers help you navigate the story. Of course, there is nothing wrong with skipping cutscenes; sometimes, you want to beat bosses and need the extra AR experience!
