Street Fighter 6 is Capcom’s newest addition to the fighting game franchise and it brings back many characters from past games. You even have the opportunity to use your own avatar when playing in World Tour Mode and exploring Metro City.
You can choose from many characters like Luke, Lily, and Cammy. There is a large roster of characters just waiting to fight. Which character you choose is up to you. This guide will show you how to change characters in Street Fighter 6.
How to switch characters in Street Fighter 6
There is a different method of switching characters depending on which game mode you are in. Starting with the battle hub, in this area, you will see a profile tag in the upper right corner of the screen. Press the button that appears on that tab.
On PlayStation, this is the square button. On Xbox Series X/S, this is the X button. On PC, this button is the R key. Pressing this button will bring you to a menu. From there, got to the character tab. Select the character you want to play as and it will switch you to that character.
When playing in World Tour Mode, you can only switch your character by changing up their appearance. In this game mode, you play as your own avatar. Because of this, you will need to visit the Style Lab Beauty Salon to change your look.
Changing your character in World Tour Mode means modifying your look and changing outfits. You can change your character’s look by purchasing more clothing with Zenny, Drive Tickets, and Fighter Coins. You can also change the color of your clothes using dye that you have in your inventory.
The final game mode is Fighting Ground. Here, you can easily change your character between fights. After a fight, you will enter the character select screen. On this screen, you will see the entire roster of fighters you can choose from. Simply select the character you want and that is who you will fight as.
