Street Fighter 6 is out now for the Xbox Series X, PC, and PlayStation. This continuation of the classic Street Fighter franchise brings all-new looks to the characters like Chun-li, Luke, Ryu, Marisa, Jamie, and Cammy. Like in previous games, these characters have costumes for you to change.

You can perform a quick color change when you want to change a character’s outfit instead of switching clothes. Capcom added some great looks for the characters as long as you put the work in to dye their clothes properly. This guide will show you how to get dyes in Street Fighter 6.

Where to find dyes and colors in Street Fighter 6

Dyes are fairly easy to find in World Tour Mode which can be accessed via the battle hub in Street Fighter 6. In this mode, you can explore Metro City and find clothing stores. Clothing stores will dye your clothes in exchange for dyes. To get dyes, you need to search the city.

In this single-player game mode, you can break objects, complete side quests, and give your mentors various gifts. To get dyes, you will be breaking a lot of objects. This will also get you other resources. Dyes are hidden within objects all over the city, breaking them open will add the dyes to your inventory.

Dyes can also be obtained by completing fight objectives around the city. Once you have enough dyes, you can make purchases from clothing shops.

World Tour Mode is also a great place to meet the other playable characters, discover rivals, and bond with other characters on the fighting roster. Completing missions will earn you bonus costumes and colors.

You can also get dyes by spending Fighter Coins which are bought with real-world currency. Fighter Coins are different from Drive Tickets which are obtained by completing challenges in the various distinct game modes.

The legendary masters that you meet in World Tour Mode will help you unlock other bonuses like alternate colors, classic costumes, and even special moves. The diverse roster brings on many new characters for you to learn from. Other characters in the game include Kimberly, Juri, and Ken.

Best locations to find dyes and colors in Street Fighter 6

While most of the dye spawns will appear random in World Tour Mode, they aren’t. Certain dyes have a better chance to spawn in specific sections of the city. Check the following areas:

  • White Dye – Go to Bayside Park and Beat Street. There are NPCs in the area who will drop the dye.
  • Blue Dye – Near Luke’s training center.
  • Red Dye – Around Chinatown where you first meet Chun-li.
  • Black Dye – On Faith Avenue near the police station.
  • Yellow Dye – Chanko House by E. Hona’s restaurant.
  • Light Dye – Dropped by NPCs near the Masters Foundation Building.
  • Green Dye – Around Urban Park. Can be mixed in with other rewards for Fight Tickets.
  • Brown Dye – Made Gang Hideout near the Hado-Pizza mini-game.

Once you get some dyes and you head to the clothing stores, you can switch your clothing colors for a small Zenny fee. You won’t be getting additional dyes from Fighting Ground or through other means of gameplay.

Dyes are essentially the same as colors, so if you’re looking for a certain color, just look for the dye that has the name of the color you want.
