Many of the fighters in Street Fighter 6 have been revamped and are looking great. The new costumes really speak to the age of some of the characters as well as their legacy. Many of the characters on the roster come from games in the past.

All of the older Street Fighter characters like Cammy, Chun-li, and Ken, have classic costumes for you to obtain. These alternate costumes make them look like their original selves with an updated look that you are sure to enjoy. This guide will show you how to unlock classic outfits in Street Fighter 6.

How to unlock classic costumes in Street Fighter 6

There are two ways for you to unlock the classic outfits in Street Fighter 6: World Tour Mode and by purchasing them. During single-player World Tour Mode, you will create your own avatar and learn how to use each character’s fighting style by taking them on as a mentor.

Characters like Ryu will appear pretty early on in World Tour Mode but others like Blanka will take a while to find. To unlock each specific character’s costume, you will need to increase your bond level with them. You can raise your bond level to a maximum of 100.

Once you have reached 100, you will unlock each character’s alternate outfits. You can raise your bond level by completing friendship missions for the classic characters, talking to them, sparring, or giving them gifts.

Progressing with the different characters will allow you to learn special moves like Chun-li’s special kicks and how to perform special Drive Rush moves.

How to purchase classic costumes in Street Fighter 6

The alternate method of getting the classic cosmetics is by purchasing them with real money. This is done by purchasing fighter coins. Like other games nowadays, you have a choice to purchase in-game currency for real money.

Each classic outfit in the game costs 50 Fighter Coins. If you want all of the costumes, you will need 900 Fighter coins in total. This will cost you around $24 in real life.
