To change your title, start by accessing the multi menu. This is done by pressing the options button on controller or the ESC key on PC. From there, select profile. This will bring you to the screen where you can update character settings. This is also the same menu where you can switch to classic controls.
In the profile menu, navigate to character, update character settings, and then title settings. In this menu, you can select new titles for your character. You can also change your new challenger message on this screen by navigating to the customize challenges option.
Going back to the battle settings section of the menu will allow you to also change your profile avatar. Make it whatever character you choose such as Ryu, Cammy, Luke, or Chun-li.
