How to glide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley is full of fantastic abilities and memorable experiences so much so that it is almost like going to a Disney park. When the Gameloft devs began releasing trailers for the Pride of the Valley update, they showed off a new ability; gliding. Players are now able to glide across the valley provided they perform the right action. Not only does it look cool and demonstrate your Dreamlight magic nicely, but it also allows you to get from point A to point B much faster. Here is how you can glide in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to sprint in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you have been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley for a while, you know how long your character moves. If you eat enough to raise your stamina up, you can run a little faster but still not fast enough to make traveling the valley less of a bore. Thankfully, the Pride of the Valley update brought in a new means of travel; gliding. This Dreamlight ability allows you to move much faster than running with the well-fed bonus active.

Gliding, or sprinting as it is referred to in the game, can easily be done. First, you need to get a well-fed bonus. This is done by eating meals crafted at a cooking station. Eat hand-crafted meals until your energy bar turns to gold. When this happens, you will have a well-fed bonus.

After attaining a well-fed bonus, you will see the option to spring appear in the lower-left corner of the screen. On PC, hold down the shift key to start gliding across the ground using Dreamlight magic. As for console, if you are playing on Switch, hold down the B button, Xbox users will hold down the B button as well, and PlayStation users will hold down the circle button. Gliding makes it easier to navigate the valley and complete tasks for quests like Eyes in the Dark.
