Resident Evil 4 Remake has plenty of different enemies that you will end up spotting as you make your way through the game’s various levels. At first, you will see simple villagers. Later on, these villagers get upgraded with the Los Plagos virus. Eventually, you will come across enemies known as Regenerators. These aren’t your typical enemies; they heal. All the damage these foes take will heal rapidly so you need to make your shots count. Here is how you kill Regenerators in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
How to find and kill Regenerators in Resident Evil 4 Remake
The first time you come across Regenerators is the facility on the island. You enter this area later on in the game during chapter 13. As you make your way through the facility, you will eventually get tasked with obtaining and upgrading a keycard. After obtaining the Level 1 Keycard, you will get attacked by your first Regenerator. These large, blob-like enemies are fierce foes with grey skin and a healing factor that rivals Wolverine’s and Deadpool’s. Each bullet you put into these foes will get healed so it is best to run from them at first.
Later on in the chapter, you will find a room with four containers – each containing a Regenerator. Connected to this is a smaller room where you will find the Biosensor Scope (A.K.A the thermal scope). Attack this weapon to one of your rifles or SMGs. With it equipped, look at a Regenerator. You will now see these glowing masses inside the Regenerators’ bodies. To kill these foes, you need to destroy these masses.

Using the weapon with the Biosensor Scope, carefully shoot the masses inside the Regenerators’ bodies. Once they are all destroyed, the Regenerator will die. You can kill them normally as well but it takes a lot more time and bullets. Without the scope equipped, shoot into a Regenerator until you see glowing masses appear on its body. These typically appear on a Regenerator’s back. Shoot these masses to destroy them and kill the Regenerator. These enemies are much more difficult to kill than the Savage Mutt from earlier in the game.
