To fix a weapon, you need to head to a workbench. There is typically one or two per area that you go so they aren’t the most common things you’ll find. Luckily, when you do find one, it will appear on your map so you’ll always know how to get back to it. The workbench symbol appears as a wrench and hammer on the map.
