Those who have been enjoying The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom know that it has the same weapon durability system as its predecessor Breath of the Wild. All of your weapons and shields will eventually break just like the Master Sword.

When the inevitable happens, you will need to find a new weapon or get it repaired. Luckily, the durability of the weapon doesn’t matter as much in Tears of the Kingdom. This guide will show you how to repair weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

There is no way to repair weapons in Tears of the Kingdom. You won’t be able to spend your hard-earned Rupees to fix that tree branch you’ve been hanging onto. Instead, there is the new Fuse ability.

The only way to fix a weapon’s durability is by fusing it with another item. No matter how damaged a weapon is, when it is fused to another item, it becomes another weapon, doing the same thing as repairing it. This also increases the weapon’s attack power as well as grants it additional effects.

Unfortunately, this can only work once for each weapon. Once the fused version of the weapon is broken, there is no fixing it. If you want to get stronger weapons, try fusing them with diamonds. Diamonds will dramatically increase the durability of the weapon they are fused to, allowing you to use the weapon for a long period of time before it breaks.

How to fuse weapons to items in your inventory in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

To fuse a weapon to an item in your inventory, start by pressing the + Button to access your inventory. After that, select the item you want to use for the fusion. Select the hold option and then back out of your inventory. Press the A button to drop the item you are holding.

With the item on the ground, activate the Fuse ability with the L button. Fuse the item with the weapon you want.
