Holotactics takes place in the saloon but will only become available after you unlock it by finding the correct NPCs. The NPCs you are looking for are Tulli Mu and Bhima Ook. The pair of NPCs can be found on Koboh in the section of the map called the Boiling Bluff.

When you find the NPCs, you will also find a Mogu in the area. You will need to defeat this enemy before Tulli and Bhima will talk to you. Don’t worry, the foe can be parried pretty easily. Once defeated, speak to the pair and they will head back to the saloon to set up the Holotactics game.

With Tulli and Bhima unlocked, make your way back to the saloon. When you arrive, ignore Caij the bounty hunter, and head up the stairs like you are going to the fish tank. You will find the Holotactics board set up in a small room on the second floor near Skoova Stev.

To play Holotactics, interact with the board and select who you want to challenge. Tulli and Bhima will explain the game the first time you play. The goal is to defeat all of your opponent’s units in each wave. Once you have defeated all the waves, you will be victorious.

Each round, you will get to select units. Each unit costs Battle Points. These points appear at the bottom of the screen. You don’t need to spend all of your Battle Points. Points you don’t use will carry over to the next round. Each opponent that you defeat will get you rewards such as additional clothing, hairstyles, and even Priorite Shards.
