Have you found the ancient Safe of Broseidon and wish to crack it open to see what’s inside? Dead Island 2 has a ton of hidden mysteries with a large chunk of them being the locations of keys. As you progress through the game, you will find various chests and safe boxes that need to be opened. Getting inside these crates will get you great rewards like rare weapons and crafting materials.

Deep within the Goat Pen, you can find the Safe of Broseidon. This wall safe requires a specific key to access it. Specifically, you need to get your hands on Brock’s Safe Key. This guide will show you how to unlock the Safe of Broseidon in Dead Island 2.

How to unlock the Dead Island 2 Safe of Broseidon

The Safe of Broseidon is hidden in the Goat Pen. This is the large home that you will go through before reaching the end of the Bel Air map section and accessing the Halperin Hotel zone. Once you reach this building, go inside and make your way to the top floor. Go through the doors to the right of the stairs. You will see a large neon sign on the wall. From there, go into the bedroom.

You will find the safe built into the wall next to the bed. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get the key required for the safe for some time. Continue through the story until you reach the end of the Halperin Hotel section. While you are on your way back to Emma’s house, stop by the Goat Pen and you will find Goat Pen Brock down by the pool.

Brock is a large zombie brute similar to the Drill Sergeant from the Halperin Hotel area. Defeat this hulking zombie and he will drop Brock’s Safe Key. Bring the key to the safe to unlock it. As a reward, we got the rare Guarding Mace but this could change in different playthroughs.
