With there so much to offer and enjoy in Honkai: Star Rail, there’s no surprise that people who own an Xbox wonder whether the game will be released on the platform or not.

So, if you’re an Xbox owner and want to play Honkai: Star on your Xbox, dive into our article as we talk about whether the latest Honkai installment will be released on the console or not. 

Can you play Honkai: Star Rail on Xbox

Unfortunately, Honkai: Star Rail hasn’t been released on Xbox, and at the time of writing, HoYoverse doesn’t seem to have plans to release it on the Xbox either. While it could be released in the future, for right now, PlayStation is the only console it has been released on. 

Another thing to keep in mind is that HoYoverse has always been known to release games such as Genshin Impact on the PlayStation and not on the Xbox. While Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail have been released for Windows, it’s strange that there is no version for the Xbox, since both platforms are owned by Microsoft. 

However, if the game is released for the PlayStation, we don’t think it would be too complicated or tough for HoYoverse to bring out an Xbox version as well, since both the PS and Xbox are similar in many ways. That said, there is no official news regarding whether the game will come to Xbox or not.

Will Honkai: Star Rail ever come to Xbox?

Honkai Impact 3rd was only released for mobile and PC, which leads us to believe that an Xbox version of Honkai: Star Rail may not be developed, at least not in the near future. On a positive note, since Honkai: Star Rail was released on PlayStation despite Honkai: Impact 3rd not being available on PlayStation or Xbox, there is a possibility that an Xbox version may be released somewhere down the line.

However, it’s important to note that all of this is mere speculation, and until the developers make an official announcement, we recommend that Xbox owners remain patient.
