How to get Gunpowder in Jagged Alliance 3
If you want to get Gunpowder in Jagged Alliance 3, you will want to get your hands on some explosives. Gunpowder is a byproduct of explosives. Let’s start with how to dismantle explosives.
Start by getting wire cutters. You can get these by scavenging for them from battlefields. Once you have wire cutters, scavenge for explosives. You can also get explosives by purchasing them from a vendor.
With an explosive and the wire cutters in your inventory follow these steps to get Gunpowder:
- Access your inventory
- Right-click on the wire cutters
- Select the combine option
- Combine the wire cutters with an explosive
- After the required time passes, you will get gunpowder
How to craft ammo in Jagged Alliance 3
Ammo is crafted via an operation. Operations are tasks that you can have mercs complete that takes time. One of the many operations you can complete is to craft ammo. You can access operations from the strategic map screen.
Be sure to have a designated crafter on your squad to help create ammo. Some perks and traits help you create more ammo and as well as get experience.
How to craft explosives in Jagged Alliance 3
Just like with ammo, you can craft explosives via the operations menu. There is an option that appears after accessing the operations/crafting menu that allows you to craft explosives.
To craft explosives, you will need to have an explosives expert on your team that can help you create them. Barry is typically the cheapest that you can get early on in the game. Simply select which explosives you want to craft such as TNT C4, or Pipe Bombs from the operations tab and it will be added to your queued items.
