Jagged Alliance 3 is a tactical combat game that requires you to choose mercenaries with great skills to perform the roles of being the mechanic, marksman, medic, and leader. The stats and skills of Each character matter. If someone is lacking in Agility, they may not perform very well, so you have to consider their best talents.

Every character has attributes, like Wisdom, Dexterity, and Health. They can also have perks that allow them to gain bonuses during combat. Finally, there are talents. Characters like Livewire, Barry, Steroid, Raider, Igor, and Magic, all have talents that can seriously help during combat.

Whether you are trying to get the best weapons or simply survive a battle, you want to make sure you have the best stats, talents, and perks for the job. The best mercs will have some great talents to use on the battlefield. Here are the best talents in Jagged Alliance 3 and which characters have them.

Jagged Alliance 3 – Best Talents and what characters have them

Each of the mercs in the game has a talent that helps set them apart from the others. The following talents are the best among the mercs in the game:

  1. Steroid Smash (Steroid)
  2. Double Toss (Fidel)
  3. Striking Looks (Fox)
  4. Jack of All Trades (Wolf)
  5. Second Story Man (Magic)

These are just some of the best talents you can get in the game with others helping with things like overwatch and stealth kills. Let’s go over what makes each of these talents great.

Steroid Smash (Fidel)

Steroid is one of the best mercs overall but talent is very useful on top of his already impressive stats. The talent Steroid Smash allows Steroid to punch an enemy with enough force that they fly backward.

This talent is useful for clearing a path to let allies through and damages nearby objects as well, allowing you to clear the battlefield a bit.

Double Toss (Fidel)

Another useful combat talent, Fidel has the ability to throw two grenades at once instead of just the standard one. Not only does this help clear out enemies, but it also can help clear debris.

Fidel is a decent marksman to have on your squad and is also among the better allies that you can recruit early on.

Striking Looks (Fox)

Nothing helps more than having a medic that is so stunning she causes enemies to literally become stunned. Fox is a great medic to have near the start of the game but is mostly worth hiring due to the Striking Looks talent.

Fox’s talent causes all enemies who notice her to get the surprised effect. This makes it so they can’t attack until their next turn. Instead of needing to waste AP hurting enemies, she can use it for healing those who are injured.

Jack of All Trades (Wolf)

Operations are a big part of Jagged Alliance 3 and will help you by allowing you to scout areas, repair items, and train militia members. The Jack of All Trades talent allows Wolf to complete any operation 33% faster.

This is especially useful early on in the game as it will allow you to train the militia faster and allow you to get supplies quicker.

Second Story Man (Magic)

Another great combat talent. Instead of needing to grit his way through melee combat, Magic excels in marksmanship. His talent, Second Story Man, allows him to get an extra 50% crit chance when firing from higher ground.

This is very useful during combat as critical hits can lead to instant kills and make combat go by faster.
