In Lords of the Fallen, you will explore the realms of the living and the dead called Axiom and Umbral in hopes of defeating the Demon God Adyr before he is resurrected. Along the way, you will face my creatures, wield mighty weapons, and harness powerful magic.

There are many questions surrounding Lords of the Fallen such as whether you can play the game on Xbox One or on PlayStation 4. There is also a debate about whether it will be Steam Deck compatible. No matter what platform you are on, can you play with friends using crossplay? Is Lords of the Fallen crossplay?

Does Lords of the Fallen have Crossplay?

The easy answer is yes! Lords of the Fallen does feature crossplay multiplayer. Using this feature, you can play online with friends on other platforms. The details of this are a little bit more confusing.

Crossplay in Lords of the Fallen allows for those who are playing on PC to connect to either Xbox Series X/S or PlayStation 5 players. In other words, PC players can play online with players on any platform. Those on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S can only play with those on the same console or on PC.

Unfortunately, if you are playing on PlayStation, you cannot join Xbox players for co-op or invasions. The second player must come from either the same console or PC. You can also only play with one other hero and not multiple heroes.

While it is unfortunate that the cross-platform play of Lords of the Fallen is slightly limited, it is nice that you can play online with friends on other platforms and experience the epic quest together. Multiplayer is one of the key features of Lords of the Fallen so any form of crossplay is nice.
