How to Solve the Attic Puzzle in MADiSON?

To solve the MADiSON attic puzzle, you’ll first need to find all four portraits. Two of them are located in the attic of grandpa’s house: the portraits of Giovinna Maxwell and Albert Maxwell.

The third portrait can be found in grandpa’s office in the same house. It’s a portrait of Pascual Maxwell and is hanging on the wall in the corner of the room.

The last portrait of Filomena Maxwell can be found in the grandparents’ room, which is a secret room. In order to unlock it, you’ll need to solve the planet medallions puzzle.

After collecting every single portrait, return to the attic and place all the portraits.

First of all, take pictures of the spaces where portraits hang on the walls. Using your polaroid reveals the numbers. Remember that these numbers are random for every player.

Now to solve the MADiSON attic puzzle you’ll need to do some math. You need to either add or subtract the numbers from the photos from the numbers on the back of the portraits. The result has to be 43!

Family Members’ Age

MADiSON attic puzzle ages:

• Giovinna Maxwell is 56 years old
• Albert Maxwell is 5 years old
• Pascual Maxwell is 33 years old
• Filomena Maxwell is 68 years old

That means if the number of the photo is 10, then you will need to find a portrait with a person of 33 years of age. After adding these numbers, the result should always be 43.

Then just place the appropriate portrait on the empty space. After hanging all four portraits a secret passage behind a brick wall will be revealed. Now you know how to solve the MADiSON attic puzzle.
