The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 4 DLC is the fourth instalment out of six extra additional content packs coming to Mario Kart 8. These will expand on the roster of courses whilst also bringing additional content. But what’s the Mario Kart 8 Wave 4 DLC download size?

Along with eight additional courses for the Switch racer, the Wave 4 pack will include brand new playable character Birdo.
There’s no concrete information on how big this could be however given Mario Kart 8 is roughly between 6.5 to 7GB in it’s entirety it’s likely that the download won’t be huge, so not to worry!
Back in May of 2022, Dataminers spotted a file size for Mario Kart 8’s third DLC at 18.0MB, however, this is possible speculation.
This would be in line with the previous updates that have come to Mario Kart 8. We can’t expect a huge file size for the Wave 3 DLC. Coming with 8 courses, a fraction of what makes up Mario Kart 8’s existing maps, the download size will not be extortionate.
