Minecraft Legends is finally here offering a new adventure, and new gameplay mechanics, for fans of Mojang’s Minecraft universe. The good news is that you’re able to play with friends, although there are some limitations. So, how do you invite friends? Inviting friends to Minecraft Legends is easy – but there are slightly different steps depending on what mode you want yto play with them. The two modes available for multiplayer are campaign co-op and co-op for PVP, which we go through below. The main difference for those using PC compared to Xbox is that you’ll need to use the Tab key to open the friends menu – from there you’ll be able to find a profile of a friend you want to play and click Invite.

To invite a friend/s to play the Minecraft Legends campaign, follow these simple steps below.

1. Ensure you’re connected to the internet – there is no split screen mode… yet
2. Load up the game and click on Campaign in the main menu
3. Here, you can either start a fresh campaign or pick up an existing one where you left off
4. Click Tab or the Friends button to invite friends – then you’re ready to kick off when they join

How to invite friends to play Minecraft Legends PvP

To play PvP mode with friends, it’s incredibly easy. In fact, the big change here just comes down to main menu activity. Please follow the below:

1. Ensure you have a stable internet connection then boot up the game
2. Head to the main menu and click or select Versus Mode
3. Choose either Host Game, Public Game or Private Game – then go to Friends via Tab or the button
4. Once your friends are in the group – kick start the game
