What is a brutality in Mortal Kombat 1?

Like the famous fatalities, brutalities are a finishing move that you can do during a fight. However, fatalities are a bit more theatrical, and take up more time. Brutalities are simpler and faster ways for you to finish him.

Every fighter has brutalities as part of their move list, including Kameo characters. These moves can be performed in any game mode, similar to fatalities. You can unlock more of these finishing moves for your character by leveling up their Mastery level. This can be done through earning XP by playing the character in various game modes like Towers, Invasions, and online matches. This unlocks additional brutalities for your character to perform.

These special moves aren’t as popular as the brutal fatalities, but they’re still a great way to give a final blow to your foe. NetherRealm Studios has packed in the brutality in Mortal Kombat 1, which you can play on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
