Yes, Mortal Kombat 1 includes a story mode. This story mode will have 15 chapters and be split up into four Acts. The story mode takes place in the new universe created by the Fire God Liu Kang, in a rebooted timeline. It will introduce the backstory of many familiar characters, and present new dynamics between them that have never been seen before.
