The Mortal Kombat 1 stress test is right around the corner and many fans are excited to play as their favorite characters against their friends. The purpose of the stress test is to test the online infrastructure prior to the release of the game.
Those who participate in the stress test will get a chance to try out the single-player Klassic Tower mode as well as the online multiplayer on both Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Nintendo Switch, laptops, and PC will not be included.
If you are ready to challenge your friends across platforms and want a chance to try out the game’s many characters, you will want to sign up for the test. Here is how you sign up for the Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test.
Mortal Kombat 1 – How to sign up for the Online Stress Test
To sign up for the Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test, start by going to the online stress test sign-up page. Once there, sign in with your WB Games account or create one. After this is done, you will be signed up for the test automatically. To confirm this, you will see the Online Stress Test under my playtests section of your account.
Signing up for the test does not guarantee that you will be able to join it. Only a select number of players will be selected from North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe before the test goes live on June 23.
If you are selected to take part in this true stress test, you will receive an online invitation through your email. Keep an eye out for this in the days leading up to the launch of the test in case you are selected. If you aren’t selected, there may be future betas and stress tests that you can participate in.
Do I need a Warner Bros. Games Account for MK1 Online Stress Test?
Yes. You need a WB Games account to participate in the stress test. One can be created by going to the stress test sign-up page. Follow the steps for account creation and you will automatically be signed up for the online stress test.
Those who wish to join the stress test will need an internet connection as well to be able to play the game but will not need online services like an Xbox Live Gold Membership or PlayStation Plus.
