The latest Season 3 update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is finally here – and as per usual has brought a ton of content, including new maps, operators and modes. Of course, a new Battle Pass is also here, as well as a new Bundle called BlackCell which has divided opinion. However, some gamers are finding it hard to get into the Battle Pass.

They’re being greeted by a couple of error messages in the form of either “Fetching Store Info” or “Fetching Online Profile” when attempting to access the new seasonal battle pass. The error means the game is unable to retrieve your purchase information from the game’s store.

It tends to happen when the server is busy or overloaded. If you are experiencing this then hopefully these tricks may well help you get the MW2 Season 3 Battle Pass working again.

Check for Updates

Make sure your game is up to date with the latest update. If you’re on Steam or Battle.net, use the client to scan and fix file integrity. This process automatically detects and replaces corrupted files in the system. If this fails try restarting the game. If you don’t know how to do this, please follow these steps, which we have referenced from the official Steam website:

How to check for updates in Steam

  • Open your Steam Library then head to Manage > Properties. .
  • Select the. Updates. tab and make your choice from. Automatic updates.

How to scan and fix file integrity

  • Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game’s Library page on the far right.
  • From the drop down menu, select: Properties, then click Local Files
  • Steam will verify the game’s files – this process may take several minutes.

Earn 1 BP Token

As per N4G Unlocked, some players are finding that earning one BP token in the game resolved the issue for them. It’s not sure why this works, but perhaps it somehow resets the battle pass feature in the client – fixing the bug.

Reboot Your PC or Console

If restarting the game doesn’t work, the next thing to do is check your internet connection and reboot your console. If this doesn’t work, head online to see if any other players are reporting a common problem and flag the bug to Call of Duty support.

As with any bug, chances are this will be hot-fixed at some point in the near future, but hopefully the above methods at least help resolve any immediate issues.
